302 Rumble Mifflin: January 29, 2021

Whatcha mean I'm still Wrestlecrap?! I made you laugh, Brother!
94 minutes

RD threatens to talk about wrestling. Blade wants to argue about Star Wars again. RD threatens him on his Big Announcement. [Wasn't it Midnight Rose's retirement? - Erik Majorwitz]

Blade received his Christmas gift from Jordan: A Hulk Hogan Rock 'N' Wrestling VHS tape and some grilled cheese and tomato cream puffs. (:15) RD's Miss Elizabeth card does not have a hometown listed, and he summons Popeye to heckle Blade before he can do any impressions. He then tries some White Chocolate Sugar Cookie M&Ms which are averagely bland. He thinks they should change the name to something more accurate.

:24 Something called a "Shaq Bowl" with the eponymous basketbrawler will occur during the Super Bowl half-time with the Miz and Drew McIntyre, despite him expected to also appear in AEW against Cody after cutting a sleepy promo against him. Blade can relate (to the sleepiness.) RD compares him to Rick Rude. But will they be fighting over bracelets?

Sad News: Catherine Bach is not on Cameo. Neither is Priscilla Barnes. Charlene Tiltin is though. So is Cheryl Ladd, who 8 year old RD once wrote to. Blade guesses Ladd at $150 is higher than Tiltin at $100. It's actually $199 compared to $40, a bargain at half the price.

SPEAKING OF Obscure Hall of Famers, the Undertaker said some stuff on Joe Rogan's podcast. Blade admits to getting drunk while carrying his own blade. (Ahem.)

Tony Schiavone tweeted about being in physical pain, perhaps from putting butts in seats. RD was stationary biking during the pandemic. Blade has been vegetarian for the past few weeks.

Jonathan Coachman vows not to return to WWE. RD doesn't believe him, remembering Bobby Heenan's words that refusing to return only makes Vince want you back more.

Madison Raine is retiring much to Mike Check's fascinating sadness (that they are also not on Cameo). (:44) For once RD breaks his own character laughing. Mike: "I don't think that's how technology works Brad." He still wants minimum wage Taylor Wild. He plays that one BJ Thomas song.

Mickie James is a fan of Trish Stratus' 'companions'. (:50) Blade thinks RD was stalking her: "I would have checked your passport if that was the case. ... Do you and Mike Check sit around and talk about who has the bigger microphone?"

Speaking of technology Blade had to find another Question on Facebook. He responds with 30 seconds of silence. (:56) David "TattooTrolla" Merlino gets an expected non-answer. (Not more silence?)

Neither wants to talk over the People's Court theme. Who would? (:56) This month, Robin Enrico doesn't mind Mr. America. RD lets Blade ramble before telling him that just because Blade liked it doesn't mean RD should also. Cf. Black Scorpion. Verdict: Guilty. RD thinks people should submit their audio defenses personally since Blade is terrible (as a human being).

Since it's that time again the two talk about their three favorite Royal Rumble memories. (:61) RD has Greg Valentine vs. Ron Garvin in '90, Hogan running into Warrior in '90, and Heenan commentating for Ric Flair in '92. Blade has Dino Bravo bench pressing in '88, Haku vs. Harley Race in '89, swimsuit Ivory in a swimming pool competition with Mae Young in '00, Honky Tonk Man returning in '01, Demolition in '89, Dalmatian Miss Elizabeth in '89, and Mean Gene feuding with cigarettes in '92. He can't remember who else was judging Ivory. To be fair, neither can most other people not named Dave Meltzer or Bryan Alvarez.

Ken Patera is on Facebook (and I bet not following McDonald's on there) but also not yet on Cameo. (:76)

RD takes credit for Jungle Boy's theme being Tarzan Boy.
Blade: "You were in your thirties."
RD: "Yes."
He also enjoys the piped in "holy crap" chants. Blade laments not working in 'AWE'.

The WWE Network is being sold to NBCUniversal's Peacock for one...BILLION...dollars. RD highlights the quality of the sale by putting Tekno Team 2000 over everyone on their current roster.

Seventeen Syllables:
Network on Peacock.
Yay, NBC with McMahon.
That's not what she said.

301 Another Christmas CaRoss: December 22, 2020

"Guilty as charged!"

112 minutes

Blade does not know who Bing Crosby is.

The Co-Christmas-Fruitcakes pondered being on Cameo. Blade made an OnlyFans account with an Only Fan. RD wants him to make burping fetish content. (:05)

Blade was on this very site before recording to check on mentions of his Big Announcement. RD rightfully responds with crickets. (:12)

Blade has a "network of fans" informing him that Christmas Monster cereals are on sale. (:14) RD finally went to Cincinnati to (safely) see the in-laws. On the way back he went to the United Dairy Farmers to try their seasonal pumpkin pie ice cream with crust and whipped cream. He presently tries out Homemade's Santa's Cookies ice cream with sugar cookie chunks and red and green icing. He enjoys it immediately and immensely, putting it as one of his top 5. Blade has trouble hearing. Again.

Jim calls. (:23) He is once again making holiday beats, not BEETS, although maybe they would go well with BBQ sauce. Things go as expected.

Mattel is finally giving Chyna her first action figure. (:30) RD is confused on why they're doing so now, some years after her final HOF induction and many years more after her passing. I'm confused why they're pairing her in some offers with Triple H, and all the confusion that entails in today's world.

Blade has his own confusion. "They'll put like, a body part -" What he means in his nonsensical way is that some figures have separate extra parts to configure the model like open or closed hand grips or accessories. (For example one time RD sent Blade a James T. Kirk figure with four extra hands for long winded speeches.)  For some reason Chyna comes with Paul Ellering's eyes ventriloquist dummy Rocco. Blade wishes Demolition had their own hand puppet in that feud. RD makes a bawdy joke for once.

RD chatted amicably with good friend Vince Russo the other day. (:38) He also has his first officially licensed action figure. Blade wants to buy an autographed one from his site.

WWE is selling Hogan, Warrior, and Savage hair gel, since they are of course known for the quality of their hair. Are they expecting Ed Leslie to shill them on their behalf?

Piper returns to gush lovingly about Santa. (:44)

Trish Stratus will appear on the GAW video podcast hosted by Mickie James, Victoria, and SoCal Val.

Tam spent her birthday in jail. (:47) Sad News: Someone provided Blade her prison address for some reason. Sadder News: she now has only 8 Only Fans. RD: "We have more listeners than she has fans." Saddest News: Marty Jannety was asking for help to contact "Lady Sunny AKA Sunny". Either he's once again extremely drunk to not know of her state, or he wants advice on how to survive prison.

RD reprinted a whole bunch of bumper stickers to sell on Mike Check's behalf. (:54) He was once in Orem, Utah's 105.3 CUTE "The Ute". He was Oscar "The Big O" Johnson, and together with Danny "Fucking" Kaye they did O-Kaye in the Morning. He plays John Pine's Christmas in Prison as Marty's long distance request for Tam.

Piper reminds you to put them gifts under that tree.

Jim is called back for some reason. (:61) He continues to ramble sing.

Blade reuses the People's Court theme (AKA The Big One) for their own forum: the Crapper's Court, revisiting old inductions to see if they are still worthy to remain. (:66) Eli Iffert, second on Facebook, brings forth Double J. Blade rambles on for a minute about crossover potential before RD shuts him up by reminding him that such a way did not exist in the 90s. Verdict: Guilty.

Chad Ecto Young, fifth on Facebook (:72): What is RD's favorite Outback Jack memory? It would be when he drank beer with a cow.

What are some action figures yet to be made that the two would want? RD wants Big Josh with bear, Phantasio, and the Ding Dongs. Blade has his Black Scorpion, Midajah and Shakira, and Mr. X. He's still confused by why original Haku did not come with crown and outfit as illustrated.

Jim is called back for some reason. (:85) He continues to have fun by himself. The two make fun of him and thus themselves for not calling up his employees as musical back-ups.

SPEAKING OF things to make fun of, USA is unhappy with WWE's recent rock bottom ratings and how they're being beaten by old reruns, let alone AEW. (:90) The two mock WWE's excuses short of them blaming the seasonal weather. RD would prefer to talk about old games. I don't blame him. He laughs at Blade's Eastern European accent. I don't blame him either.

Piper will always ensure Santy Claus remains as long as he's around.

Due to the rushed schedule and I being unable to send my own in time, RD did not get much gifts in this accursed year. (:96) Jordan did however manage to send him some Herr's chips, some 1989 WWF cards, and some 1991 NFL cards.

Blade guesses most of them correctly thanks to his Tecmo Bowling experience. RD, damning with faint praise: "That is the most impressive display of intelligence you've ever shown."

The two also got a Hornswoggle Cameo taking them to task for not yet being on the show despite his interest from over 18 months ago. I concur.

Blade hasn't received Jordan's gifts via RD yet. He did receive RD's shirt of Mickie James as Elektra. In return Blade sent him a Tam Rubik's Cube. I hope he sent one to her prison address. She may need something to while away the time; I don't think the folks would help let alone approve her to make erotic content in her cell.

Here we go:
Worst ratings ever.
Network wants adult content.
Vince's ass comeback.

RD: "Thank you for the gift."
Piper: "SHUT UP!!! SHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKING!!!"

297 Mad Ex: FuRD Road: August 30, 2020

15 Years of WCR: 12 Listeners Enter, 12 Listeners Leave
100 minutes

Blade feels old. RD: "You're telling me." SPEAKING OF Verne Gagne masturbating before killing somebody...

This radio progrem was so big it was delayed due to technical difficulties and made Blade tired, then hungover, then drunk.

RD shills his WCW Halloween Havoc coasters. (:11).

RD is not sure if it requires less energy to listen to the progrem, or to read its summary here. "They're very tortured, I can give you that." He vows to have Co-Librarians on the show...somehow.

RD: "Everyone's more talented than I am."
Blade: "You have no idea how talented we are."
RD: "I didn't say 'we', I said 'me'. That's the difference." (:16)

RD has Kroger's Private Selection General Tso's Chicken in chip form. Unsurprisingly, they taste awful. Blade wants to target the food product market demographic.

Blade had tried enticing people on Facebook with random sexual innuendo to (have RD) call one chosen out of a hat. RD mocks him correctly on his not getting a single response, causing Blade to laugh uncontrollably. (:23) As you might expect, RD's attempt...disconnects Blade. How is this a bad thing? Blade filibusters by reading something by "Rose" who remembers Blade's ex-girlfriend who didn't know who was Becky. (:27) This leads into RD successfully calling the other end to "prank call" her.

Ricky Morton pleads with people on Twitter not to send him pizzas. (:30) Blade wouldn't mind paying for unexpected pizzas, expectantly missing the whole point. This prompts RD to give Jim a call. Sadly he doesn't order a pizza for him. (:35) RD insults Blade through Jim for misremembering things (but remembering he drove a braking down turkey van among his many business ventures).

Mickie James is on Raw again. (:40) RD still remembers her feud with Trish Stratus. Blade filibusters by reading something by "Christensen" who remembers Blade's ex-girlfriend who didn't like Trish. This leads into RD successfully calling the other end to "prank call" her.

Tammy Sytch is in jail again. (:44) RD does his Nathaniel impression. He hopes that this is the last that will be heard of her for a good long while. For now.

RD: "We don't do scripts...obviously." (:51)

He is shocked that for today's Question, "Blade has this". Dan on Twitter remembers RD's shaved back. RD corrects that it wasn't during his bachelor party. Blade does his Stubby impression to repeat one of his lines from their Roast of many moons ago. (:56)

Sad News: Blade will be moving out of Don's basement. Bitey has no comment. (:61)

RD disregards Blade's Question for another. (:64) Steve Mcclernon in Glasgow also listened to the whole canon, poor man. He remembers Marcho Madness, old RD&BS tapings, Mike Check still not properly doing the TNA market, Unsolved Mysteries remaining unsolved, Blade hearing actual TNA news from Corey Udler's impressions while visiting him at Chicago, Fun with Tammy, Paige replacing jailbird Tammy, and being baffled by their references and sports.

RD also checked the F4W Board, where someone noted that sped up Blade laughing sounds like Jim Neidhart. (:70) Blade remembers wearing shoe polish to look like Darryl Hall in third grade. If RD had his hair back he would leave it wet ala Bret Hart. Blade may not look like Brian Pillman in his youth or his AEW son, but he shares his madness. RD continues to make baffling references.

As for their favorite guests, (:75) Blade has Rebel eating cereal, 2011 Halloween Piper, the Zombie, and Kari Wuhrer. RD has run-in Piper, John Tenta, and his mother. Blade filibusters by remembering his ex-girlfriend who was tired of hearing about Eric Bischoff. This leads into RD successfully calling the other end to "prank call" her.

RD fails to find Ken Patera on Cameo. (:91) The Co-Fruitcakes are still unimpressed by WWE. Someone asked Blade why he hasn't done his Ratings Reaper impression in a while. He's too distracted by whoever is left in the company throwing all their shit at the wall to impress Vince, like Shane McMahon's Fight Club rip-off. RD compares them both to the Apter Mag's complaining Old Man. He then repeats his Nathaniel impression. "We're like every other podcast now."

Blade sings about not wanting to go beyond Thunderdome.

The WrestleCrap Radio Shoot Interview: December 1, 2008

[Here's something that's been in my bucket (list) for a while.

Back when he was still burning DVDs and before he put them all and his archives online, RD Reynolds (old buddy and pal) thought it was a good idea to record...something, with a perpetual drunk Blade Braxton and his own old buddy and pal Trash Losagain. Thus this...thing, or whatever it is. I remember summarizing this too, on old fashioned itinerary paper, waiting for the time I could publicize it. Well that time is now, just because. (Well, somewhat due to the site's 20th anniversary and earlier experience with similar Patreon/supporter exclusives.) Pretend it was written when it was supposed to be written thanks to time travel shenanigans or something.

Should you still want to see this nonsense for some reason among other videos, old inductions, and most importantly, older episodes of the radio progrem, you can purchase access through the usual Patreon support and/or a single donation of $15 US. But don't say I didn't warn you.

Also my gratitude yet again to RD himself for his GIF creations. Hopefully they don't slow this down too much. The video is long enough as it is!

- PB, April 1, 2020]

103 minutes
((( recorded in DV format fidelity )))

RD is at home with Blade and Trash Losagain, all wearing headgear indoors. Blade is pretending to drink and be "not sober" from a stereotypical brown paper bag. RD has to show people he actually has a WWE Niagara Falls cup to loudly sip from. (Trash has a plastic water bottle, how boring.)

Trash has come prepared with papers. Firstly, he asks them how they initially got into the wrestling business. For RD it's simple: homophobia. (But of course.) (:02)

RD: "[Leilani Kai] had quite the pallor."
Blade: "She had the powder?"
RD: "She may have done that too."
...
Blade: "What made [RD] pop is having sex with his wife."

Actually for RD he was drawn in by Bobby Heenan. For Blade it was Adrian Adonis and his leather jacket with Dick Murdock. He says this while holding his bottle in a strategic manner on his body. (RD has his poodles Raleigh and Piper on his lap.)

Trash asks what their first actual step in the business was. Blade did some show in order to eat stale nachos. RD's phone rings; he takes an imaginary phone call with a loud tone of voice. (:05)

Blade: "I feel sorry for the people who purchased this."

Trash asks RD "to get his dick in the door". Blade hopes it's not a wooden door to avoid splinters. RD: "Does it say 'penis proof'?"

Trash asks about kayfabe while RD is momentarily distracted. He and Trash first worked for Jeff Cohen in PWI, making stuff up to annoy Mike Samples, the world's most popular wrestler. (:07) Strangely, the then mayor of Indianapolis had written their company a letter welcoming their trade, so they abused his patronage for two weeks for bloody matches.

WrestleCrap began when RD had to justify purchasing a new computer and to stand out from the other wrestling places around to ensure he was not Al Isaacs or Bryan Alvarez. It was Merle Vincent who persuaded him to go down the path he did.

Blade: "How did you find out [Bryan] was eight inches shorter?"

Blade found the site "by doing my weekly Google search of the Black Scorpion". He's definitely not telling the truth; he used Yahoo those days. (:11)

On time spent on the site and money made, Blade likes RD's turquoise wall.

RD: "I hope no one expects too many answers."

They extol the virtues of the 'legitimate' Trolla Corporation, started by Joseph and Bob Trolla, their banner hanging on the turquoise wall. (Nasdeq code TRO/LLA/ROL/OLL/ATM). Blade's phone rings; he takes an imaginary phone call with a loud tone of voice. (:14)

Trash can't contain his laughter hearing Trolla's motto of "Yesterday's technology at today's prices". "Have you seen a Trolla double headed dong?" he has to ask. RD has to disclaim they don't make sex toys or snuff films. He admits he needs Blade so that their shows don't go 45 minutes long on random stuff (like they already do anyway).

Trash has a list of names of their "slave labor". (:18) Is Johnny Six actually Dan Severn? RD: "Johnny Six sounds much more masculine." Blade thought he had facial hair. RD wants to make Trash dance by pointing at his body parts.

Separated at birth?

Stubby is "100% real" as Blade brings him out of a trash bag. In response to his resurrection the WrestleCrap banner on the turquoise wall falls off. (:21) Quick! Cut to commercial!

Banner restored, Trash is free to ask Stubby questions after RD gives him a sip (from his cup).  (:21) Then he lets one rip. Blade, not Stubby. Then he asks Trash for crugs. Stubby, not Blade.

Trash asks him about KISS since he's wearing a shirt. "I used to have a man crush on Paul Stanley," he 'says'. Blade would go with Peter Criss since he has yet to wake up with a star on his crotch. Then he farts again. Blade gives Stubby some of his bag bottle as RD has his turn laughing hysterically. "Keep it in there buddy!" he manages to get out.

Before Trash can ask more questions his phone rings; he takes an imaginary phone call with a loud tone of voice in Spanish. (:25) RD is exasperated, not realizing that a precaution to this would be as complex as...turning the phones off and/or placing them elsewhere. Not in Blade's trashbag though. Who knows what surprises he may have in there.

That out of the way, Trash asks about Peter Gazer who may or may not be related to "Mike Hunt". I think his supposed orientation would make such a thing an impossibility.

RD: "He was a homosexual. ... I know that's shocking."
Stubby: "You know, I've sucked dick too. I don't brag about it."

RD compliments Stubby's ability to make Blade's lips move rather than the other way round. (:27)

Trash tries to get "serious" to ask about Nathaniel. According to RD people complain they're not getting enough wrestling news, which they're expecting from him and Blade for some reason. RD does his Nathaniel impression.

Speaking of being serious, what do the two say to those that think their Trips to the Grocery and cereal eating are fake? They have to eat; RD doesn't grow crops out back and Blade is not a (non-wrestling) plant. RD has Trash walk up to the camera with a box of Cadbury's Fingers as proof. He has another box of Dark Fingers for all of Blade's sodomy needs.

I didn't even know her!

Stubby goes for trying the the regular Fingers to appease his PTSD. RD opens the box while asserting that his Black Friday encounters with madness are also real. He promises more adventures on the day which is Mrs. Deal's favorite. "You're making me jones for crack just talking about this!" Stubby randomly says through Blade before he gets the "shakes". Blade puts him down (on the floor), then smells his fingers. RD: "Did you get fingered dark?"

Stubby Shakes (Suddenly)

Having missed seeing that, (and with none of them giving their verdict on the food, as expected), Trash asks about the Haku Haiku. (:34) Blade started it because he had had some Crown (as illustrated) because he thought it appropriate for their show. RD finds it more concise and accurate than just going around wrestling sites (or buying a Trolla product). Trash asks Blade to improvise one (using his fingers) but before he can do so RD's phone rings (again); he takes an imaginary phone call with a loud tone of voice, to no answer:

RD on the phone.
Annoying as fuck for you and for
everyone watching.

Not bad. Only 19 syllables. Good finger counting indeed.

Trash: "I'd like to focus on some of the segments that failed and -"
RD:  "WHOA WHOA WHOA! Segments failing???" (:37)

The (expected) example brought up: Fantasy Booking Island. Blade has no idea why an extended joke attempt based on an old show would fly over the heads of younger folk. RD wants reruns back on ABC. Blade confuses it with The Love Boat. RD does his Nate impression again: four stars for that episode featuring Bill Goldberg and Kevin Nash without a cattle-prod involved. [Or featuring Scott Hall with said cattle-prod.]

From that non-answer Trash segues to Someone Bought This Exclamation Point. To keep things WCR related, RD has him hold up The Dusty Rhodes Book to show that it does in fact still exist in his house (including showing it to the second camera off camera for some reason). Blade finds himself looking through it. He reads one (1) line. RD points out that thanks to people not wanting it, the books' publisher Sports Publishing is out of business. [It's not as if the old site is still up, or that they're still imprint publishing under a new brand or anything these days. Nope, they're completely gone.] RD remembers to edit in Krankor laughing at the required moment. [Not at my finding, I'll have you know.]

(Re)Throwing the Book

Speaking of questionable items: the Katie Vick outfit. (:41) They paid $2000 for it since they didn't realize they were the only ones bidding on it. Blade last used it to have sex in (worn by the woman, not by himself), something Trash should already know about since he was an ear-witness to this revelation. RD asks him if he did it while holding some spaghetti in his hand. He did not.

RD: "Has it been dry cleaned?"
Blade: "I...I'm a master of aiming. I missed the outfit."
RD: "Words to live by, kids."

RD's turn has him with a potty time training bear which Blade had sent him last Christmas.

RD Spotted With Bear

He then takes a close up sip of his cup.

Trash has one last question of his own for Blade: What is his Big Announcement? (:45) Blade again defers. Trash has been reading people's guesses on the forums about what it might be. Could it be Blade has a third nipple? A ponytail? An appearance in a Lost Boys sequel? (Or even its XXX parody Found Boys?) RD gives a "wow" as Blade is wanting to time it right, or so he says. Trash hopes there are no bootlegs of this recording. [I don't think Coliseum Video will be releasing this any time soon.]

Trash finally gets into Questions that are not of the Week or potentially award or prize winning, but he's printed on his papers. (:48)

Trash (to RD): "Is your son upstairs?"
Blade (laughing): "He's got candy!"

That wasn't a Question if you were wondering.

  • A Question on prep time: RD refutes the notion that their progrem is "scripted...like we write out jokes...before the show". Blade shows from his trashbag a paper plate with his handwriting on the back that he eat eaten nachos off of and left on the floor the day before. (:50) The words reference his haiku (written twice), Brother Midnight, Val Venis' dog, Bettlejuice, and DX. RD: "Could you even FATHOM somebody saying something like that?" He then accuses Brian Gerwitz of stealing of them. Blade thinks he said Bryan Alvarez, but of course. "I've been drinking!" he lies.
  • Another wonders if Don Mason actually exists. Blade maintains he does despite being an Uncharismatic Enigma. He laments not bringing him with him or fake calling him. He will save the time when he hit him with his own car in the "sequel". [I believe he is referring to those days when he and Don were younger and tried to record their own horror movies. Some of that commentated on by the duo, is also available in the video archives as his "home movies". That particular incident is the last portion from the 9:30 mark onward, and features his angry mother shouting at him while RD giggles.]
  • Another wonders if RD is in fact related to Burt Reynolds and Blade to Toni Braxton. RD thinks he was the result of when Burt and Toni hooked up, assuming she was a time traveler. Blade: "I've came from a lot of Toni Braxton's stuff." RD: "And her loins I bet. From your loins."
  • Trash tries asking again. Blade wonders how he and his thin facial hair looks like Burt Reynolds. RD finds no physical similarity with him and Toni Braxton despite offering just a minute ago that she might have been his time traveling mother.
  • RD's full name is Real Deal Real Deal Reynolds. (:54) Blade: "About as absurd as me being called Blade Blade Braxton." RD: "Gay Blade Braxton?"
  • RD remembers to edit in crickets.
  • Who have they met in the business? Blade's favorite in the industry is in fact RD, and the prospect of sitting five inches away from his penis excites him. Coincidentally RD's favorite in the industry is in fact Blade and his totally legitimate Front Yard Boxing Association heavyweight championship belt which he keeps in delicate condition in his trashbag.
Blade's extremely high quality, heavy, and expensive belt up close.
  • A Non-Listener who thinks they talk a lot about wrestling wonders if they will also look at MMA. (:58) RD dismisses it as too much work for them.
  • From an actual Listener: When are the Crappies, the WrestleCrap Carnival, the Nicole Bass match, and their birthdays? [I think they may be too late with Nicole Bass now. Also, January 12th for RD and February 8th for Blade. You're welcome.] RD barely has time to say "they're coming" before Trash's phone rings (again); he takes an imaginary phone call with a loud tone of voice in non-Spanish English.
  • Another Listener: "The Cheatum interview was a work?" The two make fun of people thinking it was easy to find him in the Yellow Pages. Blade spent five hours trying to find him but stumbling onto watching elderly bestiality. RD remembers to edit in Krankor laughing if he was in fact sick.
  • Blade still has not fully paid John Thomas yet. He hope he doesn't have to give up his belt with stapled on rivets.
  • Someone had foolishly asked on the Co-Hosss Contest and if it will make a return. Blade invokes the memory of "John F.K." when RD first told him about his idea of having a Gong Show while he was passing a tollbooth. RD thought it was a good idea at the time including when somebody farted. Blade threatens to quit if there is another Contest.
  • Trash has a self-explanatory question on them wearing costumes. Blade is apparently with his "belt". RD doesn't want to edit in wearing his coat and tie to scare any younglings.
  • RD accuses Blade of not finishing his pretend bag bottle. Blade says it is his second (a Forty). He threatens to dirty the floor with it.
  • Somebody wonders where their old references come from. RD takes offense that they would plan such beforehand on their itineraries. But he needs to "write some more jokes" anyway.

  • For RD: highs and lows of the website. (:68) He considers closing the site weekly every time he needs to have something up.
  • What was said during the first Zombie interview that was not posted due to low sound quality? Blade reveals he was on his mobile phone backstage at a show in Puerto Rico, and the undead man told him not to repeat the story about people throwing urine at him. So of course he didn't. RD: "YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT THE URINE!!!"
[*Play for full effect*]

  • Trash wants the two in a "dream scenario" (without the music?) to ask them if they would want to work in WWE. RD refuses outright. Blade would fail the Wellness Policy. Blade's phone receives an imaginary text message; he takes a quick look at it regardless. RD finds it curious that gerbils and Jergens sound so similar.
  • Speaking of dirty stories to cut out, RD does want it known that he finds it curious that gerbils and Jergens sound so similar. (:71) Blade remembers (for once) when they had to cut out something about April Hunter's breasts the week before interviewing Vince Russo. Neither can Blade talk about the time he had fun with a minor at a Misfits concert.
  • A "neat" question for RD: did he ever go too far with Blade and make him cry? There are "countless" times where he does just that, even including show delays and postponements. One time they argued with each other too much. Then the two randomly sing.
  • RD: "Remember when they used to have the Heathcliff and Marmaduke Show?" (I do.)

  • Do they have celebrity interactions? RD can't reveal due to discretion involved. This includes Trolla perhaps filing litigation against Santino Mirella and his Honk-A-Meter.
  • Favorite episode/moment? (:79) RD always enjoys whenever "Jim Ross" calls in through his restaurant for therapy due to always being upset. Blade does his JR impression. The two think they could appear in video form, but Blade notes that he has to wear a mask when he does so (as John Reece).
  • Trash: "RD, I've been on the local independent wrestling scene -" RD: "Sorry buddy." Blade does his Johnny Cash impression.
  • Anyway, the original question was about someone asking about an old story of RD when he was a younger manager and gave a ride to someone for out of town. Blade burps. "Don't tell mom and dad." He has to insure those he picks up can curl and/or hurl for him. (That explains why he's still single.) [That also explains why the Midnight Rose is still single.]
  • Blade also misses the Rosati sisters who never had any plastic figures of their own due to the size needed for them. Or the Rosetta sisters, as he characteristically misremembers them.
  • Further with RD's past not involving women, he would gladly run another independent wrestling promotion into the ground if given the opportunity. (:86)
  • This causes Trash to randomly dance around. (Make your own dancing white man joke here.)

  • After sitting back down he has his last question (not sung by Celine Dion):

What is with that random blue box used to prop it up? (:88)

Blade: "You know, a lot of wrestling fans come to WrestleCrap Radio - "
RD: "Hope they're wearing a jimmy."
...
RD: "'What did you do last night?' (falsetto) 'Oh, I listened to WrestleCrap Radio and I fingered myself. It was quite good!'"

Breakfast cereal is what they eat, with more oats on a regular week than Hall & Oates.

RD mocks the naysayers who say such...women friendly products don't actually exist. Although with the way the two cover models are smiling as if hit by the Smile-X, I may have inclination to believe them. How else can you explain the quote on the back: "I will savor my broccoli."

RD: "I will make someone's vertical smile smile."

Blade holds up a generic piece like a sex toy before he eats it.

And now something for Blade and his fellows who enjoy "corn from a man's ass." RD guesses correctly that he's speaking from experience. (:92)

The trio's laughter is not helped by the odd visual of a crazy old man and his (animal) (equine) ass on the front.

Blade: "You ever ate a lot of cereal and then got busy and decided not to go to the bathroom?"
RD: "I don't know what world you live in, but I'm really glad I'm not a resident. Of Planet Braxton."

There is a mess of a prairie dog's intestines on the back leading to a spread eagle eagle. Worse, RD calls it a gerbil despite it clearly being labeled otherwise.

Finally, some proper food. Even if it has a clown. (:95) Blade could only get it "imported" from Mexico. RD wonders if it is called El Kablammo south of the border.

Blade likes its genericness. RD moves on, not wanting to hear what other random thing he will say next.

Blade not liking Rice Krispies because of their mascots makes RD laugh hysterically again. (:96) This one is more acceptable since it features an alligator instead (not to be confused with RD's Crocs that he's wearing). The back again confuses with its public service badges. Blade almost hits his Co-Host in confused anger.

RD does not know the difference between Coco and Cocoa, even when comparing the two. (:98) Blade thinks it depends which one Koko B. Ware prefers. RD says its the former since there is a bird (Frankie?) hiding in the back picture. Blade thinks the latter from Walmart is not actually from Walmart since "that's no moon."

RD is offended by the bad pun. [He has his own to make in the future, he doesn't want any infringing competition!] (:79) Blade thinks Chester is a Good Friend of the cereal, if you follow. RD is offended that it is a rip-off of:

RD: "WHAT IS THAT?!?!?!"

Before Blade can ramble on about their #1 nemesis cereal, Trash makes a run-in: it's his favorite cereal! This is too much even for RD to handle, so he stops editing.

You can't spell 'defend' without 'def' and 'end'.

289 Moistmas: December 22, 2019

Mickie the Red Nosed Nipple
77 minutes

Blade doesn't have any proper Big Announcements anymore. This is assuming he even had any in the first place.

Lord Alfred had a MySpace page before Blade deleted it. RD: "Is Lord Alfred also a Force ghost? A Jedi ghost?"

The two will discuss Episode IX later for their RD & Blade Show to be released yesterday.

This year RD reviewed a particularly horrible Christmas movie.

Blade: "I was thinking about that while I was on the toilet a few minutes ago." (:12)

RD has met many characters over the years on Black Friday or Brown Thursday as he now calls it. (:14) Blade apologizes for interrupting but he wonders who else does this while encountering RD.  This year at the "nicer" Walmart due to his 'strategy' the wife and son got to see a scuffle, while RD met a 'lovely/moist' woman. She was discussing Thanksgiving dinner with another woman before suddenly saying "that guy smells like shit." (Not RD thankfully.) He teases his brother having his own stories to tell (assuming he doesn't smell either).

Bobby Eaton had an appreciation night the other day, which is a good thing. (:30)

Mickie James has a new Christmas song which has four thumbs down. The two watch it. (:33) RD is distracted by her reindeer nose nipple. (Odd design for a pastie to be sure.)

RD cheats for the Question (:41) by going to the F4W Board for it. (A subscription is required for access.) Someone on a 'beautiful women of wrestling appreciation thread' wants random fetishistic pictures of now 50+ year old Misty Blue Simmes. Blade did some searching of Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Sack - Indiana Jones in order to find a "movie" of hers. Sadly I don't think they cover the fetish that one guy was looking for.

Barry Darsow scared RD by talking about Ken Patera. (:47) Billy Jack Haynes has wild hair. Blade will have a Beastmaster Christmas, whatever that means. [It means an online showing of Beastmaster movies which - surprise surprise - gets aborted halfway through.] Roman Reigns will be competing on Fox for New Year's Eve. Blade wants him to compete in a three legged race against Zack Gowan.

Things I've learned today: over the years, the only people who are sending presents have been Jordan Mishkin and myself. Maybe next year we will complete the triangle and send presents to each other too. (:55)

Jordan sent RD gluten free baby back ribs chips, a King Mabel bendem, and a Jim Cornette book (now with 100% more racism). Blade got a Predator 2 VHS and football Headliners. He eats some Guinness naturally flavored Burts chips. They seem to taste better than RD's.

I had sent for RD and his young man an R2D2 lunch box with lights and sounds. (I did not check to see if it was wash safe, though it should be.) He also got an Artoo Thermos as a probable replacement for his WWE Niagara Falls Cup. (As ridiculously useful flasks to keep large amounts of fluid hot or cold at their required temperatures for hours or days at a time, they can't be beat.)

Blade got a NES cartridge shaped "Drunk Hunt" flask via Nintendo John, "the greatest gift you will ever get" (although Blade cannot receive a picture of it on his phone unsurprisingly; probably spending all his money on drink instead of a new phone), and a grip strengthening beer mug via Jim. RD: "People know you."

Blade sent RD a 1996 Tam bikini koozie. (Isn't she still in jail?) RD sent Blade a He-Man Christmas sweater with a funny holiday card.

288 The Turkey Drop: November 25, 2019

A Turkey Of A Show!
95 minutes

Blade has already started the Thanksgiving drinking. He has to since his voice is shot from shouting while wrestling the day before.

RD wants more Hundred Dollar Men/Crappers so he can wear a Nikolai Volkoff Cent Sign shirt on their behalf. I'm sure Virgil would come free regardless of cost.

WWE is so bad it makes RD think it can be improved by old Hulk Hogan freestyling. (:10)

The Lions are playing so awfully that Blade is time-outing himself so he can forget/ignore them. (:12) RD already encountered Little Debbie Snowflake Brownies which are like all the rest. So he calls up his lady to try their Holiday Spice Christmas Tree Cake. It has cinnamon, cloves, & nutmeg on the front, and a square maze on the back. It tastes alright. RD persuades her to return to the show sooner than 10 years like the last time.

Blade's only child and potential heir is a ventriloquist dummy who once took a fall onto hard concrete. (He got better.) (:23) Brock Lesnar's daughter Maya has committed to Arizona State University due to her exemplary shot-putting. Blade stumbles while trying to make another "joke". Tito Santana has written a book titled Don't Call Me Chico. RD wonders if Jesse "Chico" Ventura will write a foreword. Blade remembers the possibility of Hulk Hogan vs. Ken Patera's swinging full nelson at Wrestlemania IV. Purchasing the book also includes a phone call with its author. Blade would want him on the show so he could ask him about women in cars. RD would ask him about his "bullfighting training".

RD wants to discuss wrestling things to be grateful for while Blade wants a "quick show", preferably within 3 hours. (:34) RD is grateful for Blade and his corded phone and the other connections he has made with his site, AEW vs. NXT on Wednesday, and the WWE Network where he can watch Survivor Series Jimmy Garvin. Random discussion about Linda McMahon's old Wrestlemania theme ensues. Blade is grateful for his Midnight Rose and Mr. Fitness 2 tag teaming for around a decade now and in movies and hopefully visiting the UK in January, Mickie James still being around and active (instead of Tammy), and Demolition still being around and whole.

Eric K. asks what their favorite Thanksgiving food is. (:50) RD's is pecan pie. Blade rambles about eating room temperature raw turkey when he was younger.

RD wants Bill Apter on the show again. (:55) He could discuss PWI October 1991 of which Blade guesses features Sid Vicious. The centerfold is Lex Luger. The back cover is Captain Lou Albano with his awkward wrestling hotline 1-900-LOU-4-YOU. I don't think he would have given Super Mario Bros 3 tips over that.

15 year old Blade recorded a JR hotline on cassette tape because he thought he hosted a late night talk show and felt ripped off when he found out the truth. He does his Jim impression.

Speaking of old cassette tapes, Mike Check is back in his "Eye in the Sky", the WWCR Party helicopter as part of his live remote. (:66) His idea is...such...that WKRP In Cincinatti famously did this before Jim could: a turkey drop. However, this time is different!

He has parachutes for them.

Needless to say, he has another 'accident' as it is proven that, once again, as God is our witness, turkeys still can't fly.

(Also he apparently worked with Jaime Farr in Toledo.)

RD Jr. went to his first show with his old man, AEW Dynamite in Indianapolis. (:75) RD notes his kid is following the same route he took at his age; being more interested in games with the wrestling interest perhaps coming up later while growing ridiculously tall. RD thinks the promotion and audience comprise a "happy cult", most likely because it did not have that wrestling arena aroma. They were the only ones who tried to leave before the Dark taping since Jr. had an early day, and one fan was super excited that Cody Rhodes was coming. At least Jr. seemed to enjoy the whole thing.

The Co-Hosses could only record all this during the concurrently running Survivor Series. Why is that a bad thing?

287 The Angry Gym: October 31, 2019

WWE2k20 Glitch or artist's impression of Becky Lynch in a Haunted Gym?
89 minutes

Huey has a laughing fit while Drunk Blade rambles.

Blade does not remember (m)any of their old episodes, both on Patreon and on this site (somewhere). RD: "They do a lot of fine work. We should recognize them thusly." Blade: "It will be something."

Roddy Piper also has something. He reminds kids to wear neon to ward off the danger of idiots driving cars. (:12) The two have names for his posse. Might I suggest the John Nada Carpenters?

Blade and Don are stuck inside the War on Candy Corn, which has heavy fighting on both sides. (:14) RD tries Ultimate Cheddar Flavor Doritos with Cheetos extract which tastes alright. Blade is stuck on Tron's Brach's butterscotch discs, "the tan things you suck on". He reminds RD on his age.

RD decides to talk about wrestling. (:24) Rick "Eyes" Steiner's son Bronson is doing well Running Backing in college football. Blade thinks he will last in the new XFL's one season, particularly as they now have suddenly open spaces due to paying players a salary between "jack" and "shit". Blade thinks retired players should play again for some reason. I am sure it would be worth risking their health once again.

[Bronson would get the last laugh when drafted by the Baltimore Ravens while the new XFL didn't even last one whole season. I am sad he did not have to use uncle Scott's math skills however. - Future PB]

Matt Hardy and Reby Sky will be parents again for the third time. (:32) RD gets ahead of Blade and non-directly says that she likes to f-ollow through on things.

Jim calls with horror music, a by-product of "The Angry Gym", a 'haunted gym'. They'll scare the fat out of you! (:36) He tells them to call Dave Meltzer to tell him to go fuck himself, or something. RD decides to do just that as per his itinerary, so that he can play an excerpt from his podcast with Bryan Alvarez where he tells him about some very seductive weights. Piper reminds RD to say please and thank ya to him next time.

Bill Apter had a birthday last week. (:45) "Wrestling's Power Brokers" is the cover story of Wrestling Superstars October 1990. Ken Patera and Black Scorpion are NOT on the list, but somebody named "Big Juice" is. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams is #1, possibly from Jim's haunted gym. Demolition Smash is #14.

Jim calls back in so RD has to rush to cue up his horror music. Such good coordination I see. (:53) Bob Caudle is literally running for his life so Jim speeds him off his treadmill. "Shove it up your ass!"

As can be expected with Blade's intellect and/or sobriety, at no point does he make the obvious CrossFit joke.

Blade wants to be Ken Patera's Swinging Full Nelson for Halloween. (:56) RD admonishes Blade for not knowing how to count. Blade: "Put that on my tombstone."

In relation to another bad WWE T-shirt in the recent news which does not feature Sin Cara's penis, what are some GOOD wrestling T-shirts? RD has Andre the Giant 5X worn by Stephanie McMahon belted as a mini (Blade thinks they should be worn by female companions), Blade's 2004 WCW Dungeon of Doom, and Survivor Series 1987 sent to and from Blade. He still can't count. He has to look up a 10th Anniversary Mickie James crotch-licking, (breast-feeding) Matilda, and Demolition's first "band-aid" shirt to show that they had finally made it. Sad News: Blade's AtG shirt was only XL instead of 5X which he did not belt as a mini, colored pink when his mother washed it, and bleaching it only shrunk it, before he discarded it ten years later.

WWE 2K20 is hilariously awful. That won't stop the two from wanting to buy a copy and see how so bad it's good it is in person. (:75) Blade was worried by one visual of a glitching referee having a seizure. Nintendo John agrees and bleeps himself. So does his audience.

RD found some "Haunted" Haiku music for Seventeen (Haunted) Syllables not about Dark Shadows:
2K19 blues.
Seems the new game kinda sucks.
MUSCLE didn't glitch.

RD has to squeeze in his obligation remaining Piper at the end, for shame. No space for spacing on the itinerary?
