The NEW Mike Check Show: 8 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2019)

*(NOTE: For more MIKE CHECK SHOW Anniversary specials, click here)

This was "The Mike Check Show's" 8th Anniversary special, in April 2019, where Mike Check decided to change his show's format to a Rated G Kids progrem due to the orders of "The President Of The United States", demanding "The MACKER" to become more Politically Correct?

Why? Well, it all started at the end of "Love On the Ropes Month" in Feburary 2019, where Mike played "Danger! High Voltage" by Electric Six and immediately switched it to an "unknown/un-watched" sex tape before his daughter entered the room (The reasoning was that his daughter catching him watching porn was easier to explain than that "Danger! High Voltage" video?). Mike's Daughter immediately switches it off when she remembers that the tape had the same title as a "film" called "1 Night In the Oval Orifice", that starred Peter North as "The President" having relations with...herself?!?! (Editor's note: This sounds just too disgusting, if true?). Anyway, "The President" is unhappy about the tape and orders "The Mike Check Show" to make some "changes" or else it would be cancelled by the end of April.

So what does Mike Check decide to do? He transforms "The Mike Check Show" into "The NEW Mike Check Show", with a "kiddie friendly" format, where Mike and his Daughter attempt to teach children about numbers and words, along with special guests and songs. Will this NEW format work? The answer is obvious:

The Mike Check Show Conquers The Martians: 7 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2018)

*(NOTE: For more MIKE CHECK SHOW Anniversary specials, click here)

This was "The Mike Check Show's" 7th Anniversary special, in April 2018, where Mike Check celebrated it on Mars....NO...Actually Mike was abducted by Martians and forced to spin the hits exclusively over on the red planet (...although the show was simulcast on Earth anyway, so whatever?).

So why did this happen? Well, in 2016, Mike played the Slim Whitman song from the film "Mars Attacks" in an attempt to kill "Zombie" Nathaniel at the end of that years' "Halloween Hootenanny". One year later, at the conclusion of "Halloween Hootenanny 2017" it was revealed that the song had also coincidentally killed off an evil Race of Martians. So the "good" Martians show their gratitude in Mike Check 'inadvertently' helping them win "The Great Martian War" by saving him and his daughter from STAN: The Evil Troll Lord and his son Damien from wreaking Havoc and imprison them in "The Phantom Zone" (similar to "Superman II"). They and also found Mike's music "fascinating" (as ole Mike would say) as it was a brand new concept for them. The Martians also promise to return in 5 months time but give no reason as to why? Doc Brown (from "Back To The Future") later arrives and warns Mike and his daughter of a future Martian newspaper headline that leads them to believe that The Martians may possibly want to invade or destroy the Earth on their return, for some odd reason?

During February 2018's "Love On The Ropes Month", the Martians make another appearance as they request a week of love songs from Mike, in which they found (again) "fascinating" and make the decision to return to Earth...but every time their "true intentions" for doing so is about to be mentioned, there is a break down in their communication signal. So during March, Mike still thinks that the Martians want to invade and tries to appease them by playing some "Flying Saucer" novelty song records. This eventually leads The leader of Mars, Kimar, to arrive to Earth on the 1st day of Mike's "7 YEARS OF WHACKIN'!". But even though he reveals that he comes "in peace", he also "abducts" Mike and brings him to Mars to be their deejay and to play the hits "that play well in their Market" (similar to the plot of the 1964 film "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians")...not just for Mike's Anniversary, but for the rest of his life!

(*Spoilers*) So during April 2018 (or whatever month/year it is on the planet Mars?) Kimar forces Mike to work "The Mike Check Show" in the Martian market and provides him some co-hosts; Checkdar, Jimdar and Gaiedar (the last two seem awfully similar to a couple of Wrestlecrap Radio Characters) until the show grinds to a halt as Mike has an "encounter" with Jimdar's wife that lands him back in 'The Slammer'. Mike is sentenced for execution but the whole proceedings are interrupted by the return of STAN and Damien when their "Phantom Zone" crash lands and shatters on Mars, thus freeing them. STAN plans to take over Mars, and later the Earth, but will his plans for "Universal Domination" be spoiled by the arrival of Doc Brown and..."The Crapvengers"...you'll have to click on the following links to find out?

The Mike Check Show: 6(66) YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2017)

*(NOTE: For more MIKE CHECK SHOW Anniversary specials, click here)

The whole backstory (for those confused):

Back in April 2016, The Mike Check Show's "5 Years Of Whackin/This Is Your Life'" Anniversary special had left wrestlecrapradio.com members; R.V.M Kai and Raging_Demons, with the job of having to "clean up the shrapnel" that this debacle of a show had caused. This, along with Mike's own stupidity, had led KMCR: "The MACKER!" to be pulled off the air. The progrem was later reinstated with Mike Check being granted one last chance. However, wrestlecrapradio.com had also inadvertently discovered an accounting issue that involved Mike and his "whiz-kid" daughter and it wasn't until October 2016 that it was revealed that Mike Check actually owed wrestlecrapradio.com a lot of money because...well...Mike's daughter had been embezzling funds from our fearless leader, Premier Blah, for quite some time. So as punishment, Mike received a mystery guest host for "Halloween Hootenanny", who turned out to be "Zombie" Nathaniel. However, before the "undead N.E.R.D" was able eat Mike and his Daughter's brains (or annoy them about TNA to death, whichever came first?), he was "DELETED" with the help of "Broken" Matt Hardy's loyal servants; SeƱor Benjamin and Vanguard One.

It then seemed that Mike and his Daughter's problems were over...but to make matters worse, Premier Blah's "We Wish You A Turtle Christmas" CD, the rare soundtrack to a terrible Ninja Turtle Christmas special, was accidentally sent to Mike Check's HQ to be played on his annual "Christmas Carousal" month in December 2016. So of course, once Premier Blah found out that his CD was missing, asked Mike for it back...but what he didn't know was that Mike's daughter had already destroyed it with a sledgehammer in a fit of rage (possibly channeling the anger of Alberto El Patron?) after hearing too many god awful songs on it. In January 2017, Premier Blah decided that wrestlecrapradio.com would take control over The Mike Check Show's song format until he, at least, got his CD back (and, in the meantime, Mike's Daughter attempts to find another copy without much luck).

In February 2016, Mike is granted the freedom to temporarily handle the song-list for "Love on the Ropes" month. All goes well until Mike decided to dedicate a week of songs to his old weather presenter from WTKO: THE KNOCKOUT!", Suzie Shuffle, which ends in disaster after Mike says...well some inappropriate stuff about her that Old Blade would say. Suzie's threat of a lawsuit (and she was already pissed off about what Mike said about her a year before) along with the fact that Mike was already 'skating on thin ice', causes The Mike Check Show to be cancelled once again. However in March 2016, R.V.M Kai reinstates the show as he felt that Mike's odd behavior, which included telling his listeners to "worship the devil", may have somehow not been directly his fault? However, he also informs Mike that Premier Blah is fed up and decided to take 100% control of the Mike Check Show permanently unless everything that Mike and his daughter had stole from him was paid back by the end of the month (getting his CD back was no longer important by this point).

During that time, "The Broken Hardys" appear out of nowhere and give Mike and his daughter a "Premon-EETION" that they should beware a "demon" that will " PROCURE" their show who will render it "OBSOLETE"...and of course they think that it's "Raging_Demons" (who oddly then happens to say some horrible things about Stone Cold Steve Austin on Twitter?). Mike's Daughter, worried that KMCR would be permanently cancelled under the wrestlecrapradio.com regime and also unhappy about her computer being hacked, which resulted in The Mike Check Show's playlist being modified to include songs about lying, cheating and stealing, desperately scrambles to find an investor (Dixie Carter even calls to make an offer). She is even sent on a 'wild goose chase' to England to provide some "services" to Sir Alec Heineken...which oddly doesn't go the way as she hoped. Meanwhile, Mike is contacted by a mysterious listener, who refers to himself as "Sam O'Hellyeah", who claims that he has the ability to help make all of Mike's problems go away. Mike, without his daughter's complete knowledge, reluctantly accepts "Sam's" offer and, for Mike, "The Mike Check Show" is saved...or so they thought???

You see, Sam was actually "STAN: THE EVIL TROLL LORD", a character from "Wrestlecrap Radio" (formerly known as "Satan") who possesses wrestling personalities on social networking sites  and occasionally calls in to Mike Check to play requests. STAN reveals on April 1, 2017 that he took advantage of Mike's senility by tricking him into partnering with him to take The Mike Check Show back from wrestlecrapradio.com in order to make it easier to "possess" it for himself. He also revealed that he was the one behind all the recent odd occurrences over the last four months, such as; possessing Premier Blah to send Mike his CD, possessing Mike to make Suzie Shuffle upset, etc, and that it was all part of his evil plan for world domination. He also allows Mike to continue to celebrate The Mike Check Show's "6 Years Of Whackin!'" Anniversary month (renaming it: "666 Years Of Whackin!") before he would completely "possess" the show along with Mike's soul. And to make things interesting, Stan on April 4, decides to have a song battle with Mike to determine who could play the better songs in their "particular market". The terms in place was that if STAN won, not only could he keep the progrem and Mike's soul, but he could also take Mike daughter's soul as well. However, if Mike won; Stan would be forced to leave, return the progrem's ownership over to Mike and his daughter, and also grant them one wish.

So now Mike and STAN have each played their 13 songs and, by the looks of it, the song choices made by Mike aren't so good...but do he and his daughter pull through in the end??? You'll have to read it to find out:

  1. Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley
  2. Thorn In Your Eye by Slam Jam

  30. Devil Is A Loser by Lordi - (*Spoiler alert*): Mike receives a bonus "All or Nothing" song pick (sort of like how Robin Hood received "one more shot" in the archery contest in the film "Men In Tights" for some reason?) due to Stan cheating the previous day by repeating a song by the same artist/band (i.e. AC/DC).)

MIKE CHECK: THIS IS YOUR LIFE!

*(NOTE: For more MIKE CHECK SHOW Anniversary specials, click here)

During the month of April 2016, THE MIKE CHECK SHOW celebrated its 5th Anniversary by having former WWE superstar Mick Foley host "THIS IS YOUR LIFE" for the ole radio DJ; Mike Check. Why did this take place you ask? Well basically, Mike once worked the Long Island, New York market and hated it whenever his local Paper Boy, a young Mick Foley, would damage Mike's windows by throwing newspapers at them. So years later, "Mrs. Foley's baby boy" attempts to make amends by presenting Mike with a month long surprise party...that unfortunately didn't turn out the way it was hoped.

So while we at wrestlecrapradio.com now have the job of having to "clean up the shrapnel" that this debacle of a show caused (which included explosions, fights, heart attacks, lawsuits, etc); you can re-live your favorite special guests (all invited and "uninvited") and "fascinating" moments by checking out the guest-list below:

An Important Message from Mike Check

Not again!...Hello fellers! The Mike Check Show seems to be experiencing some technical difficulties due to yet another fire. And NO, "we didn't start the fire"...a little Billy Joel reference there [*crickets chirping*}.

And what bad timing! We have been celebrating our 2nd Anniversary with songs from RJ and Brad's Show: "The Whacker" (and from my short lived 2009 website of the same name, that met it's demise in a fire...what a co-incidence!). However my daughter, who I tell you is one hell of a whiz-kid, has moved the show to a temporary (or maybe permanent?) home at www.mikecheckshow.blogspot.com.

[Edit: August 2013: Mike Check has found a permanent new home at mikecheckshow.wordpress.com. A full archive can be found here at: http://mikecheckshow.wordpress.com/archive/ ]

So please enjoy the Song Of The Day: "Jackie Blue by Ozark Mountain Daredevils", here on "The Whacker".

And that reminds me of another thing. Ole Mike is also looking for a new nickname for his show. Due to some legal red-tape, my Lawyers seem to frown upon me using the name "The Whacker!". I'm also trying to register a call sign like "WWCR". Friends of the show; Raging_Demons and R.V.M. Kai have suggested some names like: "The Checker!" and "The Maraca!" A possible call sign could be KMCS? So if you have any ideas, you can send me a message on this Twitter thing or leave one in the little comment box below.

The Mike Check Show's Anniversary Specials

The Mike Check Show's Anniversary Specials (aka: "Insert Number" Years of Whackin'!) marks the annual celebration, since April 3, 2011, when Mike Check's "whiz-kid" daughter set up THE MIKE CHECK SHOW (on a radio station known as "KMCR: THE MACKER!") to keep her aging radio DJ father busy during his prison sentence/house arrest at their home somewhere in Folsom, California. (Note: Actually, it's more of a website/blog where a Music Video from YouTube is posted daily...but Mike's too senile to work that out apparently?). It has been celebrated every month of April since 2013 (Also note: No celebration took place for The 1st Anniversary in 2012.)

2 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2013)

After forgetting to celebrate his inaugural Anniversary in 2012, Mike Check decides to celebrate "The Mike Check Show's" 2nd year by playing a list of the songs that he had already dedicated to RD Reynolds and Blade Braxton on Wrestlecrap Radio (aka WWCR: "THE WHACKER!") that hadn't yet been played on his own 'progrem'. Mike Check's "whiz-kid" daughter also uncovers a list of songs, resurrected from Mike's old 2009 tumblr site that were thought to be destroyed in a fire, which are also played in no particular order.

Unfortunately, this Anniversary also marked the moment of disaster when Mike Check lost his mikecheckshow.com domain name, from yet another fire, which then reverted to mikecheckshow.blogspot.com (it was then moved again later in the year to it's current home at mikecheckshow.wordpress.com.)

3 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2014)

Mike Check was unable to be apart of his show's 3rd Anniversary, as it conflicted with a BBC Radio Award ceremony in London, U.K, in which he was invited to present an award (note: he was temporarily released from his "house arrest" to be able to attend). So Mike's Daughter runs the program herself, for the first time, along with a daily rotation of Wrestlecrap Radio character guest co-hosts who also make their own song requests (*Spoiler Alert*: And it was almost a disaster from the start as "The Ratings Reaper" attempted to cancel the whole progrem on the 1st day.)

4 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (aka "The Angry Jim Show") (April 2015)

Angry Jim was in San Jose to perform his One Man Show with Mick Foley but then had seemed to have gone missing? Jim was last seen heading to Los Angeles to meet, who he claimed to be a large breasted blonde woman, who wanted to end his "losing streak" (if you catch my drift? ;) ). Well, it was believed due what he wrote in his final Tweet that he may have been kidnapped by Ninjas. But it turned out that it was Mike Check's daughter (aka; the "big-boobed woman") that had apparently tricked Oklahoma's own "Angry Jim" (via ninja kidnapping?) into guest co-hosting The Mike Check Show's "4 years of Whackin" Anniversary month (...well she did leave some obvious clues, I guess?).

On the progrem, Angry Jim and Mike Check mostly play songs requested by Jim, which consisted of tunes relating to; Anger, Barbequing, "Johnny Age", Dark Journey and ZZ Top, etc. (*spoiler alert*: At one point, The Mike Check Show was almost thrown off the air after Jim played a song containing explicit language and Mike Check spends the reminder of the month playing songs which he hoped would turn Jim "happy", but *obvious spoiler alert* unfortunately, to no avail.)

5 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (aka "Mike Check: This Is Your Life") (April 2016)

During the month of April 2016, THE MIKE CHECK SHOW celebrated its 5th Anniversary by having former WWE superstar Mick Foley host "THIS IS YOUR LIFE" for the ole radio DJ; Mike Check.

HALLOWEEN HOOTENANNY 2016 (featuring guest host "Zombie Nathaniel")

This was not an anniversary special but was a very special edition of The Mike Check Show's annual "Halloween Hootenanny" special held in October 2016.

It was discovered by wrestlecrapradio.com that Mike Check's Daughter had been embezzling funds from Premier Blah for quite some time. So as punishment, a mystery package was sent to Mike Check HQ containing a special mystery guest host. (*Spoiler Alert?*) It is later revealed that the box contained a "Zombie" version of Nathaniel Edward Rodham Davis, a previous fellow TNA Correspondent for Wrestlecrap Radio, who was once killed by Megatrolla, and then later becoming Premier Blah's "undead" monster to unleash upon whoever disobeys/wrongs him. At first, Mike likes "Zombie Nathaniel" and treats him like his own pet, but the Zombie N.E.R.D. makes Mike and his Daughter's life a living hell as he keeps threatening to eat their brains and also annoys them with his "markdom" over Impact Wrestling (I don't know which form of torture is worse?). Mike's Daughter also attempts to come up with multiple plans to "DELETE!" Nathaniel from their show...with mostly unsuccessful results.

6(66) YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2017)

Wrestlecrapradio.com, fed up with Mike Check's "odd behavior" and the fact that his daughter had been embezzling money from them, decide to take control of The Mike Check Show permanently unless Mike and his daughter pay back everything they owed. Mike is contacted by a mysterious listener, "Sam O'Hellyeah", who claims that he can help solve of Mike's problems. But unfortunately for Mike, it turns out that "Sam" was actually "STAN: THE EVIL TROLL LORD" (formerly "Satan"), who tricked Mike into possessing THE MIKE CHECK SHOW for himself. STAN (Mike's guest host for "6 (66) Years Of Whackin'!") then challenges Mike to a song battle and places the total control of the progrem, along with Mike and Mike daughter's soul, as a wager.

The Mike Check Show Conquers The Martians: 7 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2018)

The leader of Mars, Kimar, arrives on Earth on the 1st day of Mike's "7 YEARS OF WHACKIN'!". But even though he reveals that he comes "in peace", he abducts Mike and brings him back to Mars to be their deejay and to play the hits "that play well in their Market" (similar to the plot of the 1964 film "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians") as the concept of "music is very new to the Martians...but will Mike Check only celebrate his 7th Anniversary on Mars or be kept prisoner there for the rest of his life?!

The NEW Mike Check Show: 8 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2019)

Mike Check transforms "The Mike Check Show" into "The NEW Mike Check Show", with a G-Rated/"kiddie friendly" format, where Mike and his Daughter attempt to teach children about numbers and words, along with special guests and songs. This was due an embarrassing sex tape, that starred Mike's Daughter (apparently?) having relations with Peter North as "The President". "The President of The United States" is unhappy about the tape and orders "The Mike Check Show" to make some "changes" and become more P.C., or else it would be cancelled by the end of April.

9 YEARS OF WHACKIN'! (April 2020)

During 2020's edition of "Love On The Ropes Month", Mike Check plays some love songs in dedication to NWA Wrestling's Thunder Rosa. This leads to Mike Check receiving mysterious throat noises from an anonymous prank caller throughout the month of March. *Spoiler Alert* The mysterious caller turns out to be "The Question Mark" (also of NWA Wrestling) who has a grudge to settle with ole Mike, not only because he thought that Mike wanted to steal his crush (i.e Thunder Rosa) but also because Mike had dishonored Sensei Question's Father ("WHO") by, allegedly, having an affair with his Mother ("WHY") during the time when Mike was working in the Mongrovian market and also training in the art of Mongrovian Karate...sorry...KAR-A-TAAY. To settle the score, "The Question Mark" challenges Mike Check to a KAR-A-TAAY fight, but will Mike be able to dust off his old combat skills in order to answer his challenge?
